The grounds of Kelmarsh Hall were transformed into a spectacular woodland fairy-tale for the celebration of the wedding of Alice and Tom. Following a ceremony in the main house, guests were guided outside into the sunshine for canapes and drinks on the front lawn and terrace overlooking the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside.

Bringing the outside in was very much the front focus of this wedding, with streams of flowers, trees, moss and recording birdsong creating the awe-inspiring entrance to the marquee. The bar structure, cleverly decorated to give the impression of ruin and overgrown shrubbery enhanced the theme, adding to the forest feel conjured by the wildflower table centre pieces.

Following finding their seats, guests were served an enchanting three course menu, beginning with duck rillettes for starter, lamb rump for main and a rich chocolate mousse for dessert. Speeches rounded off the meal, before guests were invited back through to the reception area for the arrival of evening guests.

As the daytime evolved into evening, the entrance of the marquee was transformed; the trees were removed to reveal the dancefloor, a stage and a fantastic band. As guests watched the first dance, the dining tables were removed to create space for the gin lounge, serving a variety of gin, each matched expertly with their corresponding tonic and garnish.

During this fairytale wedding we had the pleasure of working alongside Nadia from Amulet Events; a fantastic wedding planner who has been in the business for years and works all over Europe. We look forward to working with her again! We feel incredibly honoured to be a part of such a wonderful day, creating lasting memories for the happy couple and their guests.
