Holdenby House

Perfectly situated in a landscape of stunning Northamptonshire countryside, Holdenby House is a picturesque 200-acre estate, encompassing historical architecture and Grade 1 listed gardens, making for the most mesmerising location for weddings in particular.

Originally built by 1583, this property was the largest in England at the time, showcasing two courtyards and 123 individual windows throughout the building, however, despite not being the biggest home in England anymore this grand and lavish property is still a landmark in Northamptonshire.

The home of three intimate event spaces, Holdenby House has a selection of cosy and quaint rooms within the building which are perfect for ceremonies and receptions. The Library is the ultimate hideaway for small weddings, holding up to just 25 people. For slightly larger affairs, the Dining Room can hold 108 ceremony guests and 80 dinner guests whilst The Ballroom offers enough space for 140 people during a ceremony and 108 for a sit-down meal.

As well as the choice of three indoor spaces, couples tying the knot at Holdenby House can enjoy the breath-taking views of the gardens for a champagne and canapé reception before sitting down for the wedding breakfast.

When it comes to the creation and serving of the canapés and wedding meal, Stones Events are proud to be responsible for this. As the official event caterers for Holdenby House, we take charge in the kitchen for all weddings that take place, providing a spectacular menu to suit each individual couple.
