We catered for a stunning wedding in the heart of the countryside at Keythorpe Manor in August 2013. Guests were greeted on arrival with Mojitos and Stone’s No. 1 Cocktails and our delicious canapés. Our colourful beet macaroon, goats cheese and pear canapés proved to be a particular highlight with the guests.

Following the cocktail and canapé reception, guests were seated in the beautiful marquee for the classic three course summer menu. The confit chicken and chorizo terrine starter, overnight braised heel of beef main course and trio of desserts wowed the guests, and Stones Events staff kept the wine flowing! Cold Canapés

Lamb cannon, anchovy glaze, gremalata crumb

Prawn, crab brioche, bloody mary, celery aioli

Beetroot macaroon, goat’s cheese and pear (v)



Confit chicken, chorizo terrine,

char grilled courgettes, smoked paprika aioli, crisp grissini

Assiette of English summer vegetables,

soft boiled quail egg, truffle custard (v)


Main Courses

Overnight Braised heel of beef,

Roasted salsify, burnt cauliflower, spinach, rosemary dauphinoiuse

Beetroot and hazelnut tart tatin,

goat’s curd, onion confit (v)


Trio of Desserts

Elderflower and crème fraiche tart, British strawberries,

Dark chocolate brownie, vanilla mascarpone,

Raspberry, white chocolate cheesecake, pistachio crumb


As guests enjoyed the first dance and cutting of the cake, Stones Events set up a bar which also served cocktails and coffee – the perfect combination to dance the night away! The guests watched some incredible fireworks at the end of the evening which illuminated the countryside.
