Ferrari 70th Anniversary Showcase

To mark the 70th Anniversary of the legendary luxury car brand Ferrari, we were asked to design an Italian menu to be served at the black-tie gala dinner at the Dick Lovett Showroom in Swindon.

The celebration began with a Road Tour of the Cotswolds, where over 50 Ferraris, led by the La Ferrari Aperta, started at the iconic World Heritage Site, Blenheim Palace. The convoy travelled through the Cotswolds to Castle Combe Race Circuit, where guests enjoyed a cavalcade around the track, before continuing through the picturesque surroundings of Wiltshire back to the Dick Lovett Showroom.

Here, guests were greeted with glasses of champagne and exciting ‘starter stations.’ As with previous Ferrari events we have provided menus for, the food must be reflective of Ferrari’s Italian heritage, while oozing luxury and flavoursome ingredients. This starter was served from a purpose designed, white washed serving area, framed by native Italian trees, designed to emulate an Italian al-fresco dining experience.

The cocktail bar offered a selection of classic Italian cocktails served by our mixologists. Fresh ingredients including lemon, basil and yuzu, conjured memories of warm afternoons in Tuscany.

The evening culminated in the reveal of the 812 Superfast which was lifted up to the first floor via the car lift to surprise seated guests. During the car reveal, the food station was switched for lounge furniture, the cocktail bar for a Veuve Cliquot bar and the registration desk was transformed into a DJ booth. The rest of the evening was spent enjoying champagne and the newly launched Ferrari model to a back drop of chilled tunes.
