From the day Annabel & Robbie’s enquiry for their wedding came in, we knew it was a wedding not to be missed! After working very closely with bride’s the family on many special occasions, it was great to be involved with the planning of this wedding. The decision was taken for the marriage celebrations to take place in the Scottish Highlands, at Robbie’s family estate.

We designed the full wedding breakfast, along with a cocktail hour, whiskey bar and a second day to celebrate with their friends and family to have subtle hints of the family’s Scottish heritage.

Following a service in the local church, guests arrived into the Shooting Room and indulged in traditional Scottish flavours, including a haggis bon bon and seared beef with potato gratin and horseradish béarnaise. The wedding breakfast incorporated more Highland flavours, showcasing a haggis and black pudding Scotch egg, venison served with a mini pot pie, foraged mushrooms and a blackberry crumble.

Guests danced the night away to a ceilidh band followed by a DJ, and there was a nod to Annabel’s roots with a chill out area, featuring lavish floor cushions and Persian shisha pipes. A beautiful wedding set in a stunning location.

“Wow! Stones Events, you exceeded all of our expectations. You went above & beyond to create the most unbelievable day for us both in the Scottish Highlands. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better team to run our wedding. The canapés, Wedding breakfast & Sunday brunch were all divine. We could never thank you enough for all the extra little touches and can’t wait to start planning the next party/wedding with you.”
