Athena was designed in 1936 as an Odeon Cinema and represents one of the largest and most extravagant buildings in the region, retaining its unique art deco splendour. As a landmark building, situated in Leicester’s city centre, Athena combines original acoustic insulation with state of the art technology, providing an ideal venue for banquets, conferences, weddings and social events. Athena boasts a capacity of over 1300 guests, making the facility amongst the largest in the Midlands.
