CAT’s 25 year celebration gets a lift from Stones Events

Last month Stones Events was thrilled to cater for more than 160 of Caterpillar’s VIP guests to celebrate 25 years of backhoe loaders from this world-leading manufacturer. CAT personnel and dealership invitees were treated to a spectacular evening of cocktails and canapés and an exquisite three-course dinner, followed by a very special cake-cutting that was carried out by one of the manufacturer’s loaders – nicknamed Sylvia!

Our dedicated team served up autumnal tasters of Cornish lamb confit with heirloom tomato and mint béarnaise and lemongrass chilli crab with wasabi shortbread, while a mouth-watering array of cocktails including Art Deco Fizz and Apple and Elderflower Martinis was circulated by our bar staff. Guests were then guided to the dining area for a three-course banquet of smoked salmon and beetroot carpaccio, duo of lamb with young greens and rosemary dauphinoise, and an amazing chocolate dessert prepared with fig, rose and pistachio. As always, our chefs were happy to create some succulent vegetarian alternatives, including a delicious creamed spinach and leek tart served with butternut and tarragon puree and steamed asparagus.
