SE caters for ‘Basel and Geneva Dinner’

Stones Events was proud to cater for this year’s sensational ‘Basel and Geneva Dinner’ on behalf of Aurum Holdings, a celebratory evening provided exclusively for the VIP clients of Mappin and Webb and Watches of Switzerland.

The event took place at world-renowned auction house Christie’s, where 120 VIPs enjoyed a unique night of dining, showcasing and auctioning of the latest time pieces from these luxurious brands.

Guests were welcomed to the fabulous Ante Room with a champagne, cocktail and canapés reception. Our refreshing Elderflower Collins and mouth-watering English Garden mocktail were real winners, and staff circulated elegant tasters including foie gras, strawberry relish and pollen fennel crisp, and ballontine of salmon nori with horseraddish salad and soya caviar. Guests were then called to the dining area, where crisp goats cheese cigar, poached egg, artichoke and asparagus salad was served as the starter. This was followed by a delicious duo of beef, and an Elderflower crème fraiche tart was presented after the welcome speeches. Guests were also invited to peruse the latest time pieces at their tables before the evening’s auction got underway, and the celebrations continued well into the night with late servings of liqueurs and freshly-made Illy coffee.
