	July brought us some of the hottest days of the year so far, which worked out very nicely for the Berkeley Insurance Group and their annual charity day for the Assam Cup Final at the Rutland Polo club in Langham, just north of Oakham. Here we delighted over 70 guests with a splendid afternoon tea in the exclusive VIP Bentley Hospitality area, including lobster and crème fraiche rolls, a selection of gourmet petite sandwiches, lemon meringue and British strawberry scones with Devonshire clotted cream. The charity auction was a huge success, with all donations going to Marie Curie Cancer Care and guests enjoying some first-rate polo, followed by the prestigious presentation of the Assam Cup. The Berkeley Insurance Group are part of the exclusive ‘Aspirational’ group, which combines some of Leicester’s finest businesses including Bentley Leicester, Champions (UK) Plc, Lumbers Jewellers, St. James’s Place Wealth Management, Bentons Estate Agent, and our sister company, Collective Minds.
