Stones Events proudly made its debut catering for royalty at this year’s Audi Polo challenge event alongside top UK Michelin-starred chef, Marcus Wareing.
The two-day star-studded event saw Prince William and Prince Harry compete in the polo tournament to raise funds for the Princes’ charity, the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry.
Audi’s exclusive guests were invited to watch the matches and to enjoy a delightful afternoon tea of cocktails, canapés, champagne and hot beverages from the marquee’s luxurious outdoor decking area. After the royal presentation, an exquisitely prepared four-course meal was served inside the marquee, with hot favorite Brit-band The Kooks performing live for the evening celebrations.
250 guests were served each day during this prestigious English society occasion, with a host of celebrities including Matt LeBlanc, Natalie Imbruglia, Kelly Brook, Louise Redknapp, James Nesbitt and rugby star Matt Dawson in attendance.
Catering for royalty and working alongside Berkeley Hotel Chef Patron Marcus Wareing was a huge honor for the Stones Events team. Tom Goodwin, Managing Director of events company Collective Minds and sister catering company Stones Events, said: ‘Working with Marcus Wareing was a wonderful experience for our team. We designed the menus with Marcus and created wonderful food for a star-studded guest list. We had many compliments from the guests, and from Audi, for both the food and for the excellent service provided by our staff. It is a credit to them that we pulled off a big success for Stones Events as a business.’
Stones Events has had the pleasure of catering for Audi in the past, including a stunning evening dinner service provided for 300 guests at one of Audi’s top new showrooms.
